Sunny Redhu is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards.

1. Our Commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

While the EU Web Accessibility Directive (2016/2102) applies primarily to public sector bodies, we voluntarily adopt its standards as best practice for our platform.

2. Measures Taken

We have taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and meaningful HTML elements throughout the platform.
  • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Focus indicators are visible for all focusable elements.
  • Color Contrast: We maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, as required by WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • Responsive Design: The platform is fully responsive and works across all screen sizes, from mobile to desktop.
  • ARIA Attributes: Where necessary, we use WAI-ARIA roles and properties to enhance the accessibility of dynamic content and custom components.
  • Dark Mode: A high-contrast dark theme is available, respecting the user's system preference by default.
  • Text Sizing: The platform uses relative font sizes, allowing users to scale text via browser settings without loss of functionality.

3. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Video Content: Closed captions and audio descriptions are not yet available for all course videos. We are working to add these progressively.
  • PDF Certificates: Generated PDF certificates may not be fully compatible with all screen readers.
  • Third-Party Integrations: Some third-party components (e.g., payment forms, video player controls) may have their own accessibility limitations outside our direct control.
